What to pack when studying abroad in Melbourne?

Clothing:
  • Underwear (two weeks’ worth)
  • Socks (two weeks’ worth)
  • Long sleeve shirts
  • Short sleeve shirts
  • Sweatshirt/ hoodie
  • Sweaters
  • Jeans
  • Shorts
  • A belt or two
  • Skirts/dresses (for the girls)
  • A set or two of active wear (workout clothes)
  • Pajamas
  • Swimsuit (for those hot summer days)
  • Coat/Jacket (Melbourne winters can get very cold)
  • At least one nice outfit for formal occasions*
  • Thongs (Flip Flops)/ sandals of some sort (good for summer as well as using in showers)
  • Sneakers/ dress shoes/ boots
  • Cold weather gear (i.e. gloves, beenie, scarf, etc)
